"Flemoklav 250" instruction recommends the use ofat infectious-inflammatory pathologies, provoked by microorganisms, sensitive to the drug. These include, in particular, diseases in the upper parts of the respiratory tract and ENT organs (including sinusitis, otitis media (middle), pharyngitis, tonsillitis). In addition, the "Flemoklava" instruction recommends the use of lower respiratory tract infections (COPD, exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, community-acquired pneumonia), soft tissues and skin, urinary tract and kidneys (pyelonephritis and cystitis, among others).
Contraindicated drug in infectiousmononucleosis, disorders of the liver (jaundice, including) on the background of the use of clavulanic acid, amoxicillin in the anamnesis. "Flemoclav" instruction does not recommend also for lymphatic leukemia, kidney failure and children under twelve years of age with a mass of less than forty kilograms (for dispersible tablets 875 mg / 125 mg amoxicillin / clavulanic acid). Contraindicated medication with hypersensitivity to its ingredients or included in other beta-lactam antibiotics (cephalosporins, penicillins).
Caution should be exercised when appointing patients with hepatic, chronic renal failure, gastrointestinal pathologies (including, in the history of colitis, associated with the use of penicillins).

The drug (to reduce the severitydyspeptic manifestations) is recommended at the beginning of the meal. The tablet is allowed to chew. You can swallow whole, drinking water, or dissolve in half a glass of water, thoroughly mixing.
Usually the drug is taken withinthree to four days after the disappearance of clinical manifestations. "Flemoklav" instruction recommends using a minimum ten-day course in the treatment of infections provoked by beta-hemolytic streptococcus to prevent late effects (glomerulonephritis, rheumatism). Along with this, it is not recommended to take medication for more than fourteen days without monitoring the functioning of the liver.
Therapeutic dosage for adults and children withmass more than forty kilograms - per day three times for 500/125 mg amoxicillin / clavulanic acid. The amount per reception should be taken at an interval of eight hours throughout the day. With chronic, recurrent infections, the above dosage of the Flemoclav preparation can be doubled.
For children from two to twelve years old withthirteen to thirty-seven kilograms is recommended to receive twenty to thirty milligrams of amoxicillin and five to seven and a half milligrams of clavulanic acid per day per kilogram. Typically, the amount of the drug at a time for patients between the ages of two to seven years is 125 / 31.25 mg / day three times, from seven to twelve - 250 / 62.5 mg three times. The specialist should choose the scheme of application and the amount of the preparation for one appointment.
Taking the drug can cause headache, insomnia, anxiety, aggressive behavior, hyperactivity. There is also hemolytic anemia, thrombocytosis, thrombocytopenia, vasculitis.
As negative reactions, abdominal pain, flatulence, nausea (at elevated dosages), diarrhea, and other manifestations are possible.
As a rule, side effects are reversible and are eliminated on their own after the cessation of treatment.
