"Ofloxacin" instruction for use definesAs an antimicrobial drug with a bactericidal effect. It is used as a therapeutic agent for a wide range of infections that are caused by sensitive pathogens - gynecological, skin, GI tract infections, ENT organs. The drug is used in combination to treat severe infections of a systemic nature.
The drug is available in dosage forms:
- tablets of 200 milligrams, which are coveredshell. As a rule, tablets "Ofloxacin" are packed in a contour cellular package of 10 or 20 pieces in each of them. These packages are placed in cardboard boxes for one or two pieces, in this form the medicine goes to the pharmacy network;

- infections of the gastrointestinal tract and abdominal cavity;
- pyelonephritis and other kidney diseases caused by bacterial pathogens;

Tablets are taken orally shortly before meals or directly during it.
The tablet should not be chewed, swallowedwholly and wash down with water. The duration of admission is determined by the degree of sensitivity of the causative agent of the disease. The average duration of therapy is from seven to ten days.
The dose is individual for each patient and is given taking into account the localization of inflammation and the severity of the process. Importantly, the patient's health, especially kidney function, is also important.
