Each Russian citizen may be lodged with a complaint to the President of the Russian Federation. In which cases is it served? How to properly design it? This will be discussed in the article.

When is the complaint made?

Possibility to write a complaint to the President of the Russian Federationis fixed legislatively. It is the constitutional right of absolutely any citizen of Russia. Thus, Article 33 of the RF Constitution fixes this right, regulating the possibility of each citizen to address both the President and the relevant authorities.

In fact, there is not much difference here. Both instances are competent on a variety of issues, and the time for consideration of the complaint will be approximately the same. • absence of profanity, jargon and insulting utterances;
• clear address;

• the complaint should not concern litigation, since the president does not control the judicial branch of government.

Open letter

A complaint to the President of the Russian Federation can also be filed by a so-called open letter. What is it? This will be discussed later.
