MBA program for today is one of theThe most popular ways to improve the level of their education around the world. This program is one of the most controversial. And first of all, disputes about this program are conducted along two entrenched directions. The first is how valuable it is in the sphere of personnel evaluation and the second is where to get an MBA diploma.

The answer to the first question is where to get it, or order an MBA diploma You can learn from international ratingsof all schools in the world, published by the most popular publications of the West (for example, Forbes, The Financial Times, Business Week and the like). And among these sources we can see the fact that unfortunately more Russian programs even do not get to the last lines of such charts.

Ratings are a rather subjective thing. There are more just accusations against the business education of the Russian system. The lack of training, lack of practical skills and evaluative subjectivism make themselves felt. According to Leonid Yevenko, who is president of the association of business education in Russia, Russian schools will not be in the Western rankings until they are fully updated, since they were made to American standards of the 60s.

Is the MBA still a virtue or a disadvantage? Now in Russia there are such programs MBA: "bank management", "financial management", "corporate finance", "corporate management", "logistics" and others.

Yuri Tazov claims that top managerstop managers want to obtain a diploma to expand their horizons and gain practical management skills, middle level - to increase their value and increase their salaries.

It is not necessary to acquire a diploma only of the fact thatyou have it. Julia V., who is a consultant in the UNITY recruitment agency, says that having an MBA diploma is more valuable than the diploma itself, like the knowledge that you got and a high-quality combination of theory and practice.

Sakov Maxim, a graduate of the MBA program, argues that there is a percentage of employers who do not fundamentally need a man in their ranks - an MBA graduate. Such employers are convinced that only those who want to demand a higher salary than they deserve study are eligible for such a program.

Kostikov Alexander, who is the director forpublic relations in JSC Lebedyansky, says that among those who wanted to get into the place of the head of commercial service, objectively, MBA holders were not stronger than other candidates. He does not consider the presence of a diploma as a very weighty argument in favor of choosing a candidate.
