  • cartridge refilling by yourself.

A constant call to the service center for refueling will cost you quite expensive, especially if the device is used intensively.

The cost of the original cartridges is such that, having bought them several times, you put an amount equal to the cost of the printer.

Refilling cartridges

We need:

  • awl;
  • disposable gloves;
  • knife;
  • lighter;
  • disposable syringes;
  • napkins;
  • the corresponding ink models.

  • remove stickers from the cartridges;
  • increase the air intake openings with a drill;
  • install sealants in the type of the cartridge in the drilled holes;
  • from the connectors of the CISS cable we remove the plugs;
  • connect the cable to the cartridges according to the colors;
  • open the lid of the CISS and the ink stabilization chamber;
  • we fill the syringe with ink in accordance with the colors;
  • open the filling port of the dispensing chamber and fill up to a maximum level all the chambers;
  • close all the holes for refueling;
  • close the lid of the CISS;
  • install appropriate nozzles in the pumping station;
  • install the cartridge in the station;
  • insert the nozzle of the syringe into the hole for pumping and slowly pull the piston toward you;
  • Disconnect the syringe and remove the cartridge;
  • wipe the nozzle with a napkin;
  • open the lid of the device and fix the holder;
  • install cartridges in the carriage;
  • manually move the carriage to the leftmost position;
  • fix the cable in the holder and adjust its length;
  • close the cover of the MFP;
  • print a test page.
