Theater of musical comedy, Novosibirsk: history, troupe, repertoire

History of the theater

The eight-time winner of the Golden Mask Award,the winner and the student of various festivals and competitions - all this is the theater of musical comedy (Novosibirsk). The history of its existence dates back to 1959, when it was founded. Actors of the theater every year take an active part in various competitions and festivals. Novosibirsk's music creates new modern projects and at the same time preserves and develops the best classical traditions. The Novosibirsk Theater of Musical Comedy is the organizer of the festival "Other Shores". It takes part in various productions that have been created in the last few years. These are new original compositions in the field of musical theater. In 2010, the State Conservatory and the Theater of Musical Comedy (Novosibirsk) created a joint project called "Young Remember". It was dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Great Victory. Within the framework of this project two performances were shown: "In the beginning of May" and "A dawns here are quiet ...". Performances were demonstrated on the stage of the theater. Together with the actors of the Novosibirsk musical comedy, the conservatory students took part in them.

In 2011, the theater began to actively tourcities of Siberia. The best theater figures of our country, laureates of the Golden Mask Award, People's Artists of Russia, honored artists and so on are invited to perform the productions.

Troupe

The theater of musical comedy (Novosibirsk) is 37soloists, ballet, choir and orchestra. Among the actors, three have the title of People's Artist of Russia. This is Ivan Romashko, Alexander Vyskribentsev and Olga Titkova. Five actors were awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia. They are Veronika Grishulenko, Lyudmila Shalyapina, Vera Alferova, Marina Ahmedova and Vladimir Valvachev. In addition, there are actors in the troupe who do not yet have the titles of People's Artist or Honored Artist, but they are laureates of the national prize in the theater - "The Golden Mask". They are Elizaveta Dorofeeva, Natalia Danilson, Evgeni Dudnik, Roman Romashov. And also the winners of the Novosibirsk theatrical prize "Paradise". These are Svetlana Sklyomina, Yana Kovan'ko, Alexey Shtykov, Anna Frololo, Marina Kokoreva.

Artistic director

Novosibirsk theater of musical comedy todaylives under the leadership of Leonid Mikhailovich Kipnis. He holds the title of Honored Artist of Russia. In 1975, Leonid Mikhailovich graduated from the theatrical school in Novosibirsk, acting faculty. After that he continued his education. In 1981 he finished his studies at the Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music and Cinema at the Faculty of Theater Studies. And in 1986 he finished his postgraduate studies. Simultaneously with his studies at the Faculty of Theater Studies, he worked at the Novosibirsk Philharmonic as a reader, and later became its artistic director. The director of the theater of musical comedy Leonid Mikhailovich was in 1995. Thanks to him, the repertoire has become more diverse: there have been performances that allow actors to fully discover all their talents and creative abilities. Leonid Mikhailovich - active, purposeful, he develops and perfects the theater, which he manages.

In 2008, L.Kipins was awarded the title of "Man of Business in Culture" at the annual interregional competition.
