Mullein - fertilizer for plants
Mullein is the most popular fertilizer in summer residents andtruck farmers. It can be used to top-dress almost any plant. With its help, you can significantly increase the yield of various vegetable and fruit and berry crops. Apply it for decorative plants.
In the beds, only the preparedappropriately fertilizer. Mullein pre-endure in heaps for at least 2-3 months. Preliminary it is necessary to pour a layer of peat on the ground. Then, a layer of mullein is laid on it, then again peat, etc. A "puff cake" is obtained. The approximate thickness of each layer is 20 cm. Instead of peat, it is allowed to use ordinary earth.
Mullein - the fertilizer is strong enough. Therefore, even in its re-roasted form, it must be used cautiously. Dry fertilizer is introduced into the soil mainly only in the spring, when preparing beds. On the surface of the soil, scatter the manure dumped in a layer of 3 cm for tomatoes, peppers and cabbage and a layer of 2 cm for cucumbers and zucchini, and then dig through half the bayonet bayonet. Dry mullein is sometimes used in the summer as mulch (after watering and loosening beds).
Do not use it this way only for carrots. If you fertilize the bed under it with manure, it will grow "shaggy". For this culture, prepare several other fertilizer - liquid mullein. In summer, when the plants are already planted, other crops are also fed. To get this type of fertilizer, you will need some kind of large capacity. It is filled with manure up to half, and then the warm water is topped up to the very top of the container, covered with a lid.
In autumn the dry mullein is crushed and scattered overof the total area at the rate of 4 kg per square meter. Potatoes are often fertilized by the mullein, using a slightly different method. When planting, just throw in each hole for a handful of fertilizer. That will be enough.
Mullein is a universal fertilizer. If there is an opportunity to use it in your garden, you must do it. Manure is in any case preferable to mineral chemical fertilizing.
