Documents required for the passport

The season of holidays is coming, which means it's timethink about getting a passport, if it was not done before, or its expiration date is coming to an end. The list of required securities is somewhat different. It depends on two factors:

• the validity of the document (5 years old, 10 years old - new biometric passport);
• for an adult or a child a foreign passport is issued.

For those who regularly travel forespecially to the countries of the European Union, it is better to issue a passport for a period of 10 years and not to return to this issue for a sufficiently long period of time. The second advantage will be faster passage of control at the airport, since in this case, manual collection of data contained in the document will not be required.

Documents required for a child's passport (old sample)

• 1 copy. completed application form;
• 2 photos;
• birth certificate (for children under 14 years old there must be a note or an insert with confirmation of Russian citizenship);
• Russian passport of the child (for those who have reached the age of 14);
• the Russian passport of the parent / legal guardian;
• valid passport (if any).

In addition to the described set of documents, you needprovide evidence of payment of a fee, the amount of which is 300 rubles, if the child is less than 14 years old, and if his age exceeded this mark - 1000 rubles.

Documents required for an adult's passport (old sample)

• 2 copies. completed application form;
• 3 photos;
• Russian passport;
• for unemployed citizens - a work book, if available;
• for the liable for military service - issued by the procedure established in the RF order of the command;
• valid passport (if any);
• a document confirming the payment of the state duty, the amount of which is 1000 rubles.

Photos attached to the questionnaire may beboth color and black and white. They should be printed on matte paper, their size is 3.5 by 4.5 centimeters. Do not accept pictures of the applicant dressed in a photo in uniform.

Documents required for a child's passport (new sample)

• 1 copy. completed application form;
• 1 photo;
• birth certificate (for children under 14 years old there must be a note or an insert with confirmation of Russian citizenship);
• Russian passport of the child (for those who have reached the age of 14);

• valid passport (if any).

The amount of the fee for passports equipped with electronic information carrier is 1200 rubles, if the child's age is less than 14 years, and if his age exceeded this mark, 2500 rubles.

• 2 photos (photo requirements are the same as for applying for an old passport);
• Russian passport;
• for unemployed citizens - a work book, if available;
• for the liable for military service - issued by the procedure established in the RF order of the command;
• valid passport (if any);
• a document confirming the payment of the state duty, the amount of which is 2500 rubles.

When completing the questionnaire, you do not need to put a signature in the rectangle on the left, since this should be done in the presence of the FMS officer.

General requirements for the design of the questionnaire for adults

The rules proposed below refer to the design of all foreign passports (new and old), obtained by the adult population.

A part of the questionnaire relating to the applicant's labor activity is certified by his manager (personnel department) at the current place of work.

For non-working citizens, in the absence of a work record, information is recorded from his words, which is indicated in the questionnaire.
