Exchange of driver's license

In order to make a driver's exchangecertificates, get a new one instead of stolen or lost, certain documents must be submitted to the State Inspectorate. For example, you need to confirm the payment for the production and (or) issuance of a new document. Without passing the examinations, the driver's license is exchanged, including driver's licenses bearing the USSR distinctive sign ("SU"), which were issued in the republics of the USSR until January 1, 1992. This also applies to driving permits of national CIS models, which were issued in exchange for those indicated, if it is confirmed by the relevant documents, and also in exchange for lost or stolen documents and temporary permits.

After the theoretical examination is passed,replacement of the driver's rights, which were received by citizens of the Russian Federation, as well as national or international rights, is performed if the relevant documents have been provided (except for the document that confirms the fact of passing the training). These include a copy of the driver's license, legally certified, as well as a document confirming payment for the issuance and (or) manufacture of driver's license.

In the case when the relevant(if there is a doubt about the authenticity of the documents or there is reason to believe that the driver was deprived of the driving license), the person submitting the application is issued for a period of up to two months a temporary license to drive certain categories of cars.

The rights are exchanged in such cases: if the driver has a desire to obtain rights on a new model, if the driver's license for use is unsuitable (unreadable records, damaged or missing photograph, documents are torn), their validity period has expired, name, patronymic (personal data) has changed.

Replacement of driver's license in connection withchange of name is carried out when presenting such documents: a copy and original of the document confirming the change of personal data, a receipt for payment of funds for services and blanket products of the State Automobile Inspectorate, a medical certificate stating that the driver is authorized to drive a certain category of cars, two color photographs, passport or document that can replace it (with a note of the internal affairs bodies on registration at the place of residence).

If the period of deprivation of rights has expired, the driver's license will be returned in accordance with the established procedure after the person has submitted the relevant medical certificates.

If the driver works in anyorganization, the exchange of a driver's license is carried out upon presentation of a certificate from the place of work, which indicates the type of transport that is assigned to the driver, registration number, order number, and for private vehicle drivers - registration documents (coupon giving the right to manage and / or certificate of registration).

If a new driver's license was issued in returncertificate, the former is invalid and must be handed in to the State Inspectorate. After the cancellation of this certificate, at the request of the owner, it can be returned to him.

Owners are also returned driving licenses of international standard.

For those persons who do not have a driving experiencewas interrupted during the last year (this will be checked by all means!), replace the document without examinations. Persons who have not been driven at all during the past twelve months are exchanged for a driving license after they have passed practical and theoretical examinations.
