To date, the devotion to the club is no longeris so important for football players concept. Therefore, it often happens that they leave their clubs to win trophies, earn money and get fame. Few players remain, like Francesco Totti, who has played for Roma since 1993. However, now we are talking about the prodigal son - a player who left his club in search of a better place, but eventually returned home. The name of this player is Kevin Kampl.
Kevin Kampl is Slovenian by nationality, howeverhe was born in Germany. He began his career in the Leverkusen "Bayer", where he was considered a fairly promising player. In 2010, at the age of 20, he made his debut for the main part of the club, but did not get accustomed, so in the summer of that year he left the club to seek happiness in a less prestigious team, which, however, gave him more opportunities to reveal himself - in "Greuther Furth" .
Kevin Kampl played for "Furth" only six months, after which his talent was again seen by the leadership of his native club, which invited the young player back. Another six months Kevin fought for his future, but lost this fight, after which he was sold to Osnabruck. There Kevin Kampl started everything from scratch and a year later he made a breakthrough - being in Aalen, he drew the attention of the top club of the Austrian championship RB Salzburg, which laid out for the player three million euros. Before the winter of 2015, played a player in Austria, after which he was invited by Dortmund "Borussia", one of the strongest clubs in Germany. Here it is worth noting that Kevin Kampl is a midfielder, but in Dortmund he was used as a winger, and he did not show his best qualities.
Return to Bayer
In the summer of 2015, for 11 million (that is,one million), "Borussia" sold the player to his native club - "Bayer". And who would have thought that it was there that he would open up and begin to show fine football, becoming one of the regular base players.
